On a whim I started working with a new subject for me – architecture! I was inspired by a number of artists, Edward Gorey being one. It was super fun to make something other than animals, and now I am inspired to make more cityscapes. While making this one, I had London on my mind, and now I am ready to branch out and make Rainbow Row in Charleston, row houses inspired by my time in DC, and anything in Paris. I really wanted to add a kitty in a window, or a flower box, but that would make it too cheery.
