Summer has been slow. Really slow. I will try to share some updates that are not too snooze-worthy…
I have applied to a variety of publication and gallery calls for the fall. This has prompted me to write my artist statement, re-write my bio sketch, and format my images. Hoping there will be some fun announcements to share as a result!
I finally made business cards! I now have something attractive to hand people when the occasion arises. Because I cannot choose one image, I printed up two. Both are minimalist square cards, one with my Edie Sedgwick illustration, and one with my Cat Boxes illustration. Excited to pass these babies out!
Lady Dame Prints is still available at Pelliclaude on Main Street in Columbia, South Carolina. I have prints and postcards available. Additionally, I recently sent off new stickers to the Hidden Hand Society in Savannah, Georgia. They now have mermaids, foxes, whales, and more!
I have discovered farmer’s markets are not for the faint of heart (it is real easy to loose hope when no one looks at your items while sitting in 95+ degree heat), but will be joining Three Leaves Pottery at the Irmo Farmer’s Market on July 22 for a second time (indoors!).
Forthcoming: I have ordered promotional mailers (aka: postcards) just for mailing to art directors, and other folks who may be looking for an illustrator. They should be coming in later this month. If you would like one, send me a private message under Contact, or a private message over Instagram. I would be happy to send you one!
