About

With a passion for line and bringing order to chaos, Jessica experiments with a variety of processes through the combination of analog collage, illustration, and painting.

She seeks to blend fine art and design by creating pieces with an emphasis on clean lines, negative space, and surprising use of color. Jessica is inspired by the cycles and beauty of the natural world, illustrated stories of her childhood, fashion illustration, and design.

Jessica has exhibited in galleries along the east coast. Her work has been featured on the cover of Skirt Magazine, and highlighted in the Washington Post, the Greensboro News and Record, and the Free Times. Under the moniker of Lady Dame Prints, her designs appear on greeting cards, postcards, and stickers.

Her work can be seen on storm drains across Columbia (South Carolina), in the elevators at the Cambria Hotel in Columbia (South Carolina), the Cone Health MedCenter for Women’s Art Collection in Greensboro (North Carolina), and in The Baldwin Room at The Historic Magnolia House in Greensboro (North Carolina).

Jessica attended Thomas Nelson Community College, Christopher Newport University (BA in Art History), and the University of South Carolina (MLIS). She currently resides in North Carolina.
