Jessica Dame is a mixed media artist who grew up on the Chesapeake Bay. As a child, she spent her days crafting illustrated stories and drawing sea life. Later, she received her B.A. in Art History at Christopher Newport University, then left the coast for graduate school at the University of South Carolina to study Library and Information Science. Her work has been shown in Virginia and South Carolina. Her illustrations, under the name Lady Dame Prints, can be found on greeting cards, postcards, and other paraphernalia. Drawing inspiration from many places, she most often is inspired by nature, music, photography, illustration, and minimalism.
